Quickly proving the Seventh Trumpet/Post-Tribulation Rapture

Jesus: The Rapture is after the Tribulation

Jesus stated in Matthew 24 that He will come on the clouds to gather His elect from one end of the sky to the other after the tribulation.

"But immediately after the tribulation of those days…He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other." Matthew 24: 31.

Christians are called the elect (chosen) throughout the New Testament.

"If God is for us, who is against us?... Who will bring a charge against God's elect?" Romans 8:31,33.

The Rapture is after the First Resurrection

Revelation 20 states the resurrection of those who refuse to take the mark of the beast and worship his image is the First Resurrection.

"And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the Word of God, and those who had not worshipped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark of the beast on their forehead or on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years…This is the first resurrection." Revelation 20:4-6.

I Thessalonians 4 states the dead in Christ will be resurrected first before the rapture occurs.

"And the dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air." I Thessalonians 4:16-18.

Since there can obviously be only one First Resurrection, the resurrection of I Thessalonians 4 and Revelation 20 must certainly be one and the same.

The Rapture is after the antichrist is revealed

According to II Thessalonians 2, the coming of Christ and our gathering together with Him will not come until the antichrist is revealed, displaying himself as god in the temple. This Abomination of Desolation occurs in the middle of the 7 year Tribulation according to Daniel 9.

"Now we request you brethren with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together with Him, that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed by either a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed…"  II Thessalonians 2:1-4.

The Rapture is after the Last Trumpet

I Corinthians 15:52 states the dead shall be raised and we shall be changed at the Last Trumpet so the Rapture can be none other than a Last Trumpet event.

"Behold, I tell you a mystery, we will not all sleep but we will all be changed, in a moment in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet." I Corinthians 15:51-52.

The Seventh Trumpet at the end of the Tribulation is the last trumpet in the Bible.

"Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever." Revelation 11:15.

If the Bible means what it says, the Rapture will certainly happen at the Seventh Trumpet at the end of the Tribulation. Last means last.

Rahab was taken out after the Seventh Trumpet

Rahab, a type of the Church, was taken out of Jericho after the seventh trumpet of the seventh day, exactly as the Church will be taken out of the world after the Seventh Trumpet of the Seventh Seal.

“At the seventh time, when the priests blew the trumpets, Joshua said to the people, ‘Shout! For the Lord has given you the city...’ And when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted with a great shout and the wall fell down flat... Joshua said to the two men who had spied out the land, ‘Go into the harlot's house and bring the woman and all she has out of there..."” Joshua 6:16-22.

The invisible return of Christ is not in the Bible

The Coming of the Lord Jesus is described only as visible, glorious and seen by everyone in the world, never invisible or secret.

"Behold He is coming with the clouds and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him." Revelation 1:7.

Jesus warned His disciples not to expect a secret return, but when He comes He will be seen in the sky from the east even to the west.

“For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be... And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.” Matthew 24:27,30.

The pre-Tribulation rapture is not in the Bible

There is not a single verse of Scripture which says the Rapture will happen before the Tribulation or that the Church will not be here during the Tribulation. If it’s not in the Bible, no one has to believe it.
